NYNE Supports Vision Zero With NYC Century Bike Tour Sponsorship

Transportation Alternatives’ 25^th Annual Tour to Take Place September 7

Oxnard, CA – August 12, 2014 – NYNE, an innovator of lifestyle inspired audio products, is proud to announce it is once again a sponsor of Transportation Alternatives’ 25^th Annual NYC Century Bike Tour. In an effort to support safer streets in New York City, NYNE is giving the first 10 tour participants to raise $1,250 for Vision Zero its Bluetooth bike speaker, the Cruiser. Vision Zero is a policy that aims to eliminate serious injuries and fatal traffic crashes through better enforcement, street design and education.

On September 7, more than 6,000 participants will ride 35, 55, 75 or 100 miles through New York City’s neighborhoods. To illustrate bicyclists’ right to the streets, there are no street closings and bicyclists ride with traffic and obey all traffic laws. The NYC Century Tour is an integral starting point for year-round bicycling and is the best way to experience the diversity and breadth of the city.
